Look at crazy eyes. He's mad that the first thing he saw when he got home from work was his brand new bed falling apart....
Remember how I mentioned that we got a KILLER deal on a bedroom set from RC Willey? Remember how I was thrilled because I felt like a REAL adult who had a bed frame? Well, Remember how other Jason was pointing out a feature on the bed to my Jason, TOUCHED it, and then it fell apart?
Yeah. That was awesome.
Remember how one of the side beams was a good 6 inches too long, and the boys had to take an axe to it so it would fit? I bet you don't remember how Jason called RC Willey and "gave 'em hell!". He did. Needless to say, they are supposed to be here tomorrow with steel supports (They gave us janky wood ones that don't even line up)
RC Willey, you messed with the wrong family. Do you honestly think that we'll roll over on this one???
**For what it's worth, it was FREAKISHLY entertaining watching the boys play Bob the Builder. Do you notice my BRAND new kitchen chairs playing the part of a sawhorse? We need a garage.

Ugh! Good for raising hell, sadly you almost never get what you want until you do!
Um. Wow. We have the EXACT same bed from RC Willey! And we ALSO thought we were getting a spankin good deal on it! Because the side pieces don't support the mattress we had the mattress sit on boxes for 3 years with the headboard and footboard just sorta propped up against the mattress. We finally gave in and bought a metal bedframe. We didn't have to do any sawing though- that's awful!
Seems like the "Thanksgiving Orphans" need Madre and Padre around to tell you "Honey, there ain't no such thing as a free lunch". RC Willey is in business to stay in business and they don't do it by giving away the Drexel Heritage stuff that fits, lasts and is something to really cherish. We will stay home next year to guide you properly on Black Friday!

Wow. It's been almost 3 years and we still don't have a bed frame. House? Check. Baby? Check. Is a bed frame what makes you grown up? Guess we'd better work on that...
Glad to hear you raised hell. Those of us who are weaker (me) will live vicariously through you while we rig up a bed frame fix.
Don't ruin those chairs!
Awesome story! Not a fun event for you but it made a great blog! I can't wait to see the finished product, it looks gorgeous! I am jealous, we don't have any bedroom furniture!! BTW - get well soon, I just saw that you are muy sicko! :(
