Mr. Giraffe, Mr. Giraffe, you are so fun
You have yet to be out in the sun
While you might be just a little toy
You bring Hazen so much joy
Where were we, before your tenure?
Hanging out, in a lot of....manure.
Please don't be sad when Hazen eats your head
"I love him so much", is what he said
Thank you for bringing my boy lots of smiles
We'll keep you around for quite a while

I love that your giraffe is a little "darker" than Max's.
Do you like that his bed sheets are totally nasty and snot stained too? That's my favorite part. Mother of the year, party of one?
What is the deal with the giraffe and it being 1)the mascot of all gender neutral clothing and 2)on everything baby? On the one hand, I suppose I have never thought about whether or not a giraffe seems more male than female so perhaps the neuter concept is apt, but on the other hand who thinks it's a good idea to encourage children, from infancy no less, that giraffes are safe, cuddly and romp friendly. Having said that, the giraffe motif is everywhere in our house so clearly we are drinking the kool-aid too.
This is Hal's "Holly Hobbie" so to speak. Did you lose that blanket? I can't remember.
That's the kind of stuff you'll love that you have when he gets all old.
I'm a little concerned about the manure comment, however.
manure?
Only thing that kind of rhymed with Tenure.
oh Anne, he is sooooo cute.
What is it with the giraffe? That was Sarah's FAVORITE toy when she was a baby. I just found Sarah's little giraffe about a week ago. And she was SOOOOOOO excited to see it again.
