Proof.

Yes, I am still running. I ran over 8 miles last week- this is amazing for me!! This week, I'm shooting for at least 10. My body is sore, so we'll see.

Things I have learned:

-Don't go at 3pm outside. Too hot.
-4th East is a Mamma-jamma. You THINK it's not that much of a hill. I seriously almost stopped and cried.
-Going to the gym with your husband turns you into a bigger wimp
-Kerli and Coldplay make me want to run forever
-Hazen+Graham Cracker+Jogging Stroller=Happy Kid
-I'm out of shape, but feeling hotter each mile I run.

8 miles?! That is great! I need to start running again, but I just don't know if I can. I have lost my drive. :)

You're my hero. I wish I lived by you so you could motivate me. Not that I should be running 10 miles a week at this point, but I have to start motivating myself in advance or I will never get out running again. You're awesome. And Hazen looks pretty happy himself.

Very impressive Anne. I'm impressed you're running that far and with a stroller. Way to stay motivated. I'm glad Hazen's so good with it!

Way to go!!! I love when it starts to feel great instead of just suck. I'm going to have to check out Kerli.

Great job Anne!! I don't know if you know, but I ran a full marathon a couple years ago, and if you have any questions, I can help you out a bit. Like what to wear (no black cotton sweats are not going to cut it!) and shoes that will help you and help you not mess up your knees, and all that jazz. Let me know if you want any info.

Also www.coolrunnings.com is awesome... you can start a running log there where it will keep track of the total distance you run/amount of time you run, etc. There are also great forums about different things to make running easier.

I HATE running. Loathe it. But I do it anyway (not now obviously) because of the crazy endorphin rush I get after I am done running. It just feels so amazing! Actually I plan on starting to train for another half marathon when shorty is born. Maybe you would join me? I am thinking maybe one in San Francisco, they always have lots to choose from. Definitely let me know... we could get a bunch of people in on it and all have a reunion of sorts, meet up, and run this thing. That could be a LOT of fun!! And a half-marathon is daunting because of the name, but its really not that bad- only 13 miles and theres always people cheering you on the whole way!
