Paige thinks that she looked big the day before she had twins. She looked awesome. This is me, about 10 minutes before they sliced Hazen out of me. This is, without doubt, the most disgusting thing I've ever seen.
IN MY DEFENSE..... I had just been OD'ed with Morphine, and I was scared to death about the thought of having a baby sliced out of me 9 weeks early.
But still.....

Um, hello? You had preeclampsia something fierce. You deserve to look terrible, and you are darling now.
I love the GTH look you have on your face.
It makes me laugh everytime.
She also had gestational diabetes. Oh, sorry I think I'm violating HIPAA. Are you sick still, or maybe...pregnant?
I am drafting a blog that will make you remember more carefree days (but it may take a few days). Hopefully it will lift your spirits. :-)
It's only uphill from here!
I'm not complaining everyone... I was just posting a funny old ugly picture
I love it. I hate the pictures of all the women looking beautiful before and after labor. I mean seriously.
Everyone is saying I looked good in that picture, so I've decided that was just an awesome lucky picture. I was disgustingly large. Ask my sisters.
You just looked sick. What does "it's only uphill from here" mean?????
Linked over from Paige's blog.
Love the morphine induced stupor. What cracked me up was to see the laptop of your husband on the side. Isn't it great to know when we wives are in the "valleys of death" that our husbands can carelessly be surfing the web?
I really love the second photo, and for this reason: I imagine Jason is sitting there with the laptop because you said, "Honey, sign onto blogspot. I am high on morphine and want to dictate a blog."
Who is your sister?
My husband took those photos with his camera. I try not to remember how much his camera cost. It was too much.
Glad to hear you're going to Blogapalooza. Now I need to get to know you more in earnest.
Now can someone please get spell check to recognize Blogapalooza? I am tired of seeing that red squiggly line.
Love it! I've decided no one is allowed to photograph me until AFTER the kid is born and I've had a chance to stop sweating and the kid is no longer bloody. Who wants to see that anyway? Not me! Of course, I'm sure my wishes will not be respected on this matter.
I still can't believe Hazen was born so early! You are a trooper to deal with everything you have had to deal with. I would be stressed to high heavens by now--you hold your stress well :)
I'm trying to be good and check out all of the blogs of the ladies going to BP. I noticed that you said you had your little one at the NICU at UVRMC. That's where my triplets were born and where we all spent the first 3 months of their lives. We loved it there! I hope everything is getting better now...nothing worse than a sick kiddo!
Look forward to meeting you!
