Or perhaps this????

Seriously, I'm at a loss with what to do with Hazen's hair. Today, his beachy shorts just begged for hair that had a little more of an edge. I love that he looks a little bit like a punk, because in real life, he couldn't be anything further FROM! The first two pictures are him showing us his "surprised" and "happy" faces. Aren't you a little bit jealous I get to live with this kid all of the time?

Okay. This is what I don't understand about little boys and the messy hairdo. I get my little boy's head all gelled into messy/faux hawk awesomeness and then approximately 4 minutes later, he's rubbing his head on the floor and then his hair just looks like I never did it. At least with little boy part-on-the-side hair, I can smooth it back down. What do you think?

Ah, why bother? Like Jessica said, they'll get it messed up within minutes. We do the "look like you just got out of bed and forgot to comb your hair" style. It seems to work for my boys. They get comments about how cute their hair is and THEY DON'T DO ONE THING TO STYLE IT.

One word:

Buzz.

It's ugly, but convenient.

Refuse to Buzz. My baby is far too cute to buzz.

Plus, he'll go bald by the time he's 20 (like his Dad), so we might as well enjoy the hair he's got while he's got it!

I cannot believe how many teeth he has! And I am just laughing at that second photo. You must have taught him the "open mouth" snapshot.

Sorry I like the clean cut look. It is a bit long even for the "punk" look. He was wild in church with his new do.....the week before, when I combed and parted it, he sat through the whole meeting.....

FUN! A little more muss and you've got a Robert Pattinson going on! :D I agree with the others to a point, I think it is a very fun, play day type of hairdo... I like the side part combed look for Church and such. We still buzz, but these pics make me wanna stop! :D He must sit still enough to cut it nice... not sure if my little guy would do that! :D
