One thing that I remember SO much about my childhood was licking the spatula after my mom would make a treat. Hazen's getting to the age where this rite of passage is now a norm for him when I bake! He is so cute- when he sees a spatula that has batter and it's associated goodness on it, he runs up to me, hugs my legs, and nicely asks, "Please?"

Oh my adorable!!! :D My kids have to be quick because it is usually me that gets to lick the spatula! :D It avoids fights... yeah, that's why I do it. :D
Hazen your hair rocks. Your in for a fight if Papa is around he is the original "beater eater"
