Palm Desert: Last Day!

Our last day of vacation found us both sad to leave the family and fun that we had been having, but excited to go home. Isn't it weird how you always crave a break so badly, but at the end of your vacation, you look forward to returning to the routine of home? We woke up to breakfast burritos made by Rob and Rachel. We didn't waste anytime going to the pool, as Jason and I were going to have to leave around 3:30pm. We found a new pool that we wished we would have been at every day! Hardly anyone was there- it was fabulous! I had a great time having swimming races with the grandkids, and Hazen loved the splash pad that they had there.

After swimming, we had to rush back to the condo to get showered and ready while Hazen took a nap. When he got up, we said our goodbyes to everyone, and rushed off to the airport (by way of In-N-Out). We had a quick flight to Vegas where we had a layover that was longer than it should have been. I won 40 bucks at the slots, got greedy, and only walked away with $11 while Jason watched the I-pod with Hazen. After our flight got in much later than it was supposed to to Salt Lake, we searched for my car for over an hour. It was pretty awesome!......

Finally, a little after 2am, we walked into our house. Our vacation was so fabulous, but it's always nice to return to Home Sweet Home. Thanks Mom and Dad for the incredible time and memories!!
