Palm Desert: Day 5

On Tuesday, we started the day off with Breakfast hosted by Heather and Brad. After breakfast, we piled into the cars and some of us headed off to The Children's Discovery Museum, and the other group headed off to some plane museum. Read: Most of the men went to the airplane museum, and pretty much all of the kids went to the Children's Museum. :) We had a lot of fun at the Children's Museum, Hazen really enjoyed dressing up like a Firefighter. There were even some cool things for the adults to do- it was a really neat place!

After the Museum there was swimming, as per usual, and then we were instructed to meet at promply 5pm for instructions for dinner. We showed up, and were informed that we were having an "Iron Chef" competition of sorts, and that we would be judged. We were given a time limit, a money limit, and sent on our way to the store.

I must say, for the lack of time that we had, everything turned out delicious! Jason and I made Homemade Parmasean Potato Chips, Heather and Brad made "Big Booty Mama Cookie Salad", Heidi and Cristian made Tri-tip, and Rob and Rachel were in charge of dessert and made Crepes. Delicious!

After dinner, we all went to bed relatively early. We had been wearing ourselves out so much the week prior! As for Jason and I, we were sad to be embarking on our last day of vacation!
