The Rollercoaster Continues

So, this is my update for today. I'm not sure how much I'll really be able to update this week, but I want to let everyone know what's going on. Tomorrow, they're sending Hazen down to Primary Children's in Salt Lake. The Drs are realizing that there's just SOMETHING that isn't right, and they've accepted at Utah Valley that they might not be equipped enough to handle it, or figure out what it is. They're sending him there specifically for the Pediatric Neurologist, but most other specialists are probably going to be taking a gander at my boy.

So, I'll update when I can, but I don't know how much internet access I'll really have. As soon as I have answers, I'll let you all know, so if you can, please wait on the phone calls asking about him until then. I can't describe to you how difficult it is getting calls and only being able to tell people that "I don't know" what's wrong with my baby or when he's going to get better, or when he's going to come home. I'm just as in the dark as you are.

Hey girl, I'm glad someone recommended the book! I love the Sears' books, they are really great! I am glad they are sending shortstack to a specialist... that's why we have them! They know how to really figure out what's going on. I mean, come on, they figured out some guy got sick because he ate too much popcorn. Specialists rock!

Isn't it just about Hazen's one month birthday? In only 11 months you will be celebrating his birthday, letting him mash cake into his cute little face, and you will probaby have about 3 zillion digital photos of him on your computer! This too shall pass, all this hard stuff, will be a memory you share with his future wifey some day down the road. When you are a grandma...

Ha ha... think about that. Not only did you just become a mom, but now you are possibly going to be a granny too. See what you started?

Have a fantastic day! Keep your wishes up, because it's time these guys really get in the mud and find out what's going on so they can FIX it!

Can I come visit you at Primary's? I can take you to lunch perhaps? I live real close, so let me know.

Hey Anne, I work 5 minutes from there, so if you ever need a break or a nap or want to get on the internet or anything you can stop by. Or if you need a place to stay because you don't want to drive all the way home, let me know. We have 2 empty beds! Plus we're going camping this weekend. We're praying for your boy!

I know its not the greatest, but I am glad they are moving him. It is time for some answers and I bet they will be able to provide some. Did you take any ambulance pictures? He is going to LOVE those in about ten years. Keep us posted, cute Anne.

Anne, I'm glad they're moving him too. I've heard so many amazing things about Children's that I'm sure his care will be amazing. Take care. Love you tons!

We are praying for you. Go HAZEN! He can pull through this. And it will definitely help to have the best of the best specialists working at his side to figure things out.

P.S. And how stoked are you that you live far enough away to stay in the Ronald McDonald house ???

That's why I send my pennies to Primary's. Oh, and I will always put my pennies in the Ronald McDonald box from now on so you can eat burgers and stay close to Hal.

Really? Ronald McDonald House? I can only dream of such privilege. Can you blog about it sometime? Do they serve fries with that?

Hello dear Anne! I am so glad that you are keeping us posted on Hazen's progress. You have a beautiful little son. I love the professional pictures, they were just precious.
I am glad that you guys are heading up to Children's. Why not work with the specialists, this is what they do! We miss our Lee friends here in Cali, but we are praying for you and think about you every day!

HI Cousin-

I'm sure you are reading all your comments so I'll be sure to add in my thoughts today.
Primary Children's is a great hosptial nationwide (I read about it in magazines all the time). I would feel a lot more confident about my baby being there than other places. So stay strong and know that he is in good hands. What stories you will have to tell!!
